Mrs. Lenox’s 8th grade Science classrooms are buzzing with energy...Literally! The bright students are collaborating on a class project to create energy efficient model homes powered by a variety of energy sources including mini solar panels, wind turbines, and different hydro powered mechanisms that channel and churn water. Circuitry is installed in their model homes to connect the energy source to power mini lights and fans. Teams are creating poster board presentations to display their projects, and some teams are also experimenting with hydroponics to grow plants for food sustainability! 8th grade is so ready for a Zombie Apocalypse!!!
