PHS Students and Parents - View and select your School Portrait for use in the Yearbook and/or Class Picture before Retake Day!*

*The final deadline is two weeks after retake day; if you do not select an image VIP will choose the pose to use in the Yearbook and/or Class Picture for you.

To view your student’s school portrait look for an email sent to you by “Visual Image Photography”, or go to vipis.com (student ID number may be required)

Retake pictures will be taken on September 24, 2025.

Retake photos will be added to your online image gallery approximately 7-10 days after photo day

The Pecatoncia FFA Chapter will be hosting their annual Fall Fest on September 20th from 10am to 1pm! Join them for some pumpkin themed activities, a petting zoo, and more!

Pecatonica PTO is having their first meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 10th at 6:00 PM in the elementary school cafeteria. Childcare will be provided.

Pec High School Portrait day will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. To view and order photos from Picture Day: You’ll receive an email when your images are ready to view online or go to vipis.com shortly after photos are taken. If you need further assistance, contact VIP at support@vipis.com.

2024-2025 PHS Yearbooks will be handed out to students this week! Class of 2026 had the opportunity to pick up books today. Class of 2027 will be able to pick up thier books during ISP in the high school office on Wednesday and class of 2028 may pick up their books during ISP on Thursday. There are a limmited number of extra books available for $70.

Class of 2025: Pick up your senior yearbook at the high school office between 7:30-3:30. You may send a parent, sibling or friend as long as they sign for it. All other students may pick up their book during the first week of school.

PEC #321: Due to a broken HVAC unit at the high school, tonight's Board of Education Meeting will be moved to the Middle School Media Center starting at 7:00 PM. Please enter from Main Street due to sealcoating in parts of the parking lot.

FHN will be offering Sports Physicals on June 13th, 2025 from 8:00am-12:00pm at the FHN Family Healthcare Center (1301 Main Street in Pecatonica, IL).

Pecatonica High School will be hosting the IHSA 1A Regional Softball Tournament tonight and tomorrow night. This is an IHSA event. There will be a $6 admission fee at the gate. Semifinals-Thursday, May 22. 4:30 Dakota vs Rockford Lutheran 6:00 (approximate) Pecatonica vs South Beloit Finals-Friday, May 23. 4:30 Winner Game 1 vs WInner Game 2.

Nominated by the district 10 athletic directors. Division 4 athletic directors then vote for the division athletic director of the year and then it moves on to a committee of Illinois athletic director association members from around the state to make the state athletic director of the year selection. Our Athletic Director, Kevin Kunkel, was very fortunate to be selected and would like to thank the admin, coaches, teachers, and students for allowing him to do his job every year! Congrats Mr. Kunkel!!!

Congratulations to our twelve middle school state bound track athletes! Congratulations Miles Lender, Nolan Ford, Nicholas Langholf, Tyrus Stifter, Izaiah Braimah, Andrew schweighart, Parker Volk, Payton Volk, Mary Frank, Ashley Wanke, Jazmine Braimah, and Madelyn McLevige. Athletes will compete Friday, May 23rd through Saturday, May 24th in East Peoria at the IESA state track championship!
