Some of our contestants and Key Clubbers will even be there to help!

The Pecatonica School District has an opening for a full time 2nd shift custodian position. The hours for this position are 2:00pm-10:30pm. Duties would include cleaning of classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms. This full time position offers insurance and retirement packages as well as earned vacation days. The custodians work year round and have the holidays off. During the summer months all custodians work 1st shift schedules.
We also have open positions for part time help which would be used in all 3 of the district buildings as well as after sporting events.

Join Pecatonica FFA at our Annual Pancake Breakfast this Saturday from 8am to 11am! We will be serving pancakes, biscuits & gravy and sausage in the HS commons! We hope to see you there!
PTO will have items to pick up from our Perfect Pastries fundraiser on Wednesday from 3:15-6:00 in the elementary school cafeteria. A PTO meeting will follow and we would love to see some new faces. Thank you to all that sold! We made over $4,500 . That money goes straight back into the classrooms in the form of books, field trips, seating, technology, and so much more! We look forward to seeing you all at pick up.
Three Pecatonica High School art students have been accepted into the highly competitive 85th Annual Young Artist's Show! They are Raeleen Bryant, Allison Martin, and Alyssa Martin. The show will feature 300+ artworks from regional, private and homeschool students. The show runs from March 1-29th with the opening starting at noon on March 1st. There will be an awards ceremony that day at 1pm. Congrats to Raeleen, Allison and Alyssa!
We are thrilled to announce the following have won the Pecatonica High School February Student of the Month Award: Senior – Cailyn Shippy, Junior – Troy Hospelhorn, Sophomore - Isabelle Zissler, and Freshman – Conner Mielke. Congratulations!

Boy's basketball fans...
Bring three non-perishable food items and get free admission to the boys basketball game tomorrow, January 28, at Durand! The game is varsity only at 6:00 pm.
The PHS Math Team did extremely well on Saturday at Hononegah! They placed 1st as an Algebra 1 team (Ava Larson, Ellie Biba, Maddie McLevige, and Adam Buck). The Geometry Team (Jordan Scorggins, Owen Bradbury, and Cailyn Larson) placed 2nd. They also placed 1st as a Freshman/Sophomore 8 person team (Adam Buck, Cailyn Larson, Ellie Biba, Jordan Scorggins, and Owen Bradbury). Congratulations to all!
The high school girls basketball game against Rockford Christian tomorrow night has been rescheduled for Monday, February 2. JV tip off at 5:30 with Varsity to follow.
