The Pecatonica High School presented, The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien on opening night November 14, 2019 and showed through November 16.  The cast and crew’s dedication paid off as they brought a fictitious universe to life and Bilbo Baggins “The Hobbit”, elves, dwarfs and trolls went on a quest for treasure guarded by Smaug the dragon. Bilbo's journey took him from care-free, homey surroundings into dark evil territory where he and his friends encountered conflict and warfare.  The Director, Therese Magden, and Assistant Director, Kim Shrader, along with Student Directors Isabella Hillary and Macy Sager, worked together on this production to encourage and showcase our talented student actors, dancers, singers, set and tech crews.  Everyone did a great job!!!
