On Thursday April 25th, 2024 Pecatonica Middle School is having their annual event, “Evening with the STARS.” STARS stands for Students in Technology, Art, Reading and Science
8th grade students will be presenting their Energy projects (Science & Technology)
Ms. Houghton will be displaying a Middle School Art show with projects from all grades.
6th grade will present their “Wax Museum” literature projects. (Reading/Literature)
5th grade will display their biography projects. (Reading/Literature & Social Studies)
7th grade will present their Biome projects (Science & Technology)
Student council will have face painting and “buy-a-balloons".
There’s fun for the whole family!
The event is from 5 - 7PM. Prairie Street Brewhouse’s “Sizz N Fizz” food truck will be here for anyone who wants to purchase SMASH burgers. Kona Ice of Rockford will have their truck here with delicious shaved ice, with options for sugar-free flavors as well to purchase. Kona Ice will be donating 20% of sales back to PCMS!!
We will be having a used book sale located in the library, as well as silent auction baskets to bid on! Everyone is welcome to enjoy the event and support our students in their amazing achievements.
