The Board President has determined that a fully in-person meeting is not feasible. In order to maintain compliance with the Governor’s Executive Orders and recommendations from the Winnebago County Health Department regarding social distancing and the maximum of 10 persons allowed to gather, we strongly recommend that the public participate virtually, and no seating will be available in the room. The public will have the opportunity to view and listen to the board meeting via livestream on our district Facebook page. The public will also have the ability to participate in public comment by submitting comments via email to billfaller@pecschools.com by 7:00 p.m. on November 16, 2020. Those comments will be read out loud, subject to time constraints, during the Audience to Visitors portion of the agenda. Please remember that Board Policies 2:230 and 8:30 still apply during this time. As such, anonymous comments or comments that violate these policies will not be read out loud. Finally, members of the public wishing to provide public comment to the Board in person may be allowed to wait outside the meeting room in a socially distanced manner and escorted into the room to address the Board in person, one at a time, at the appropriate time on the agenda.
