Our goal is to promote good health for our students and staff. As the districts nurses we promote good health by performing a variety of duties. The duties include assessing student health needs, maintenance of student health and immunization records, monitoring attendance, providing first aid to students and staff, conducting mandatory health screenings, which include hearing and vision testing and providing health education.

If your family is moving into the state of Illinois, all incoming children are required to have a physical completed within 30 days of enrollment. The physical needs to be on the appropriate form. The form is titled "State of Illinois Department of Human Services Certificate of Child Health Examination".

The Pecatonica School District promotes wellness education, good nutrition, and regular activity as part of the total learning environment with the WELLNESS POLICY.
