Message from Superintendent Faller 11-24-2020

Dear Parents and Community Members,

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Pecatonica Schools will continue to operate in person learning upon return from Thanksgiving break.   We are committed to student and staff safety.  It is essential, in order for us to continue to stay open, that everyone continues to do their part.  We also acknowledge the concerns regarding the possibility of increased transmission over the holidays.  Please keep any students home who have any of the symptoms or situations on the self certification checklist.

Andrea McGrew, our district nurse has provided the COVID Positive numbers since the start of the school year.  It only includes the positive cases and not students or staff members who have been in quarantine.  The number of positive cases is very low.  The quarantines have kept the transmission of COVID out of the schools.  To date there have been no transmissions between students.   The low positive numbers are a reflection of our community, parents and staff all working together!! THANK YOU
