On Thursday, April 18, 2019, Mrs. Kramer’s 8th Grade Reading classes received a surprise visit from the character, Professor Albus Dumbledore, from the fictional novel, Harry Potter. Professor Dumbledore, wand in hand, appeared during the 6th and 7th hour classes and it seemed as though he walked right out of the pages of the book. His beard was long and prestigious and his posture was that of a good and wise headmaster from the Hogwarts School of Wizardry. The students were very surprised to receive a visit from a fiction character. Dumbledore kept them on their toes as he played a game of “Hogwarts Trivia” with them. They had been sorted the day before into houses and he made a great competition out of it. Chocolate awaited the winners in his magic briefcase.
