Basketball Spectator Limitations.

In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the IHSA, public schools are only allowed 50 spectators. All spectators must follow the social distance requirements as outlined by IDPH. This obviously makes it difficult for spectators to attend. However, we will be allowing limited spectators for home games. Please see below for the limitations at Pecatonica High School.

We will be starting the JV games at 5:30 this year.

  1. Due to the limited number of spectators allowed. The Upstate Illini Conference voted to only allow home team spectators.  There will be no visitors at home games.

  2. Each player will be allowed only two spectators for home games.

  3. Adult admission is $4.00.

  4. Doors will open ½ hour prior to the start of the game.

  5. Spectators will be required to sign in for attendance purposes.

  6. For boys basketball only, due to the larger number of players and the limitation of spectators. We will need to clear the gym after the completion of the JV game. Spectators who watch the first game will be required to leave the facility.  We will disinfect the seats and the varsity spectators will be allowed to enter.

  7. Because of the low number of high school girls basketball players spectators will be allowed to watch both games.

  8. Each player’s two spectators must sit together in socially distanced designated seat markings on the bleachers. The seating positions will be marked with blue painters tape. We ask that you sit in the same location for every game.

  9. If one of the spectators is a child, the child must stay in the seat for the game.

  10. Spectators will not be allowed to sit in the commons.

  11. IDPH is requiring school districts to direct all individuals to refrain from shouting, singing, or chanting.
